J18:  Burger Quest, 1:30 P.M. at The Chattaway, 358 22nd Ave. S., St. Pete 33705 - Come join us at the oldest restaurant in St. Pete featuring the ‘Best Burgers’.   The weather should be perfect for eating under their covered outdoor dining area.  Plenty of parking and a British atmosphere to match our LBCs. 

25:  Polo Match Outing and Tail Gate Party (all car clubs invited) at the Sarasota Polo Club in Lakewood Ranch, hosted by the Florida Alfa Romeo Club.  $15.00 per person fee includes select tail-gate parking by the field and a pole canopy shelter, bleacher seating or your own travel chairs.  BYO food, drink and anything you’d like to share.  For info and reservations contact: Bob Scott at (817) 313-2945 or rlscott007@gmail.com

Ruth Eckerd Hall and the Capital Theater recently announced the second annual Jay Leno Cruising the Captial Car show in down town Clearwater Sunday February 15th from 1 - 6 pm. Admission is free but you do need to pre-register your car to show it. Just contact Nancy Dietrich at ndietrich@rutheckerdhall.net to register. Door prizes and free tickets to the Capital Theater are available to those who sign up before February 6th. There will be live music and food. The Capital Theater lounge and bar will be open as well so you can hang out on their balcony or roof terrance and listen to the music below and relax.

22: With superlative vocals and musicianship, dynamic enthusiasm and a genuine love of the music they perform, The Bronx Wanderers recreate the magic of the era and build an energetic bond with their audience, guaranteeing an evening of toe-tapping, hand-clapping and dancing in the aisles all night long. Their show tells the stories and plays the music that will take you as close as you can get to having lived the actual experience. The Wanderers arrive at every show with new material all the time but never leave out the favorites that their fans and audiences have come to love. Not to be forgotten, are the popular Frankie Valli medleys that this group “nails” say the critics. “It never gets old, says lead singer Yo’ Vinny. It just doesn’t get better than this. We don’t rest on our laurels. We never will.” At the Capitol Theater, 3 pm. Lunch at O’Keefe’s preceding at 12 noon.

22:  Burger Quest 1:30 P.M. at Capogna's Dugout, 1653 Gulf-to-Bay, Clearwater 33756 - Join us for a good time at a long time Clearwater favorite restaurant.  They will have an indoor section set aside for us with plenty of parking out front.  They feature a ˝ lb. burger that they want you to vote as ‘best in the area’.

I toured the entire Mission Inn property last weekend.  The location is breath taking.  The drive to the Inn on "Old Florida" back roads is wonderful.  And the staff is meeting our every need to make GoF South perfect. :  St. Pete Santa Parade, 8:30 A.M. downtown St. Pete.  All LBC car clubs are invited. The parade starts at 10:AM and finishes about 11:30 at the Vinoy.  This is a well-organized parade that moves along quickly.  Lots of children line the route, so throwing beads and candy is discouraged.  After the Parade, we can caravan to the Brits by the Bay Picnic.

:  Brits by the Bay Winter Picnic, Phillippe Park-shelter #6, Safety Harbor, 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.  Please bring a side dish or dessert to share…burgers, hot dogs, drinks and all the fixings are provided.  We are collecting Toys for Tots, please bring a new unwrapped toy.  Please RSVP to president@tampabaybritishcarclub.org – hosted by The Tampa Bay British Car Club
